It's been a while since I blogged.... finally the snow is leaving! I was so getting sick of looking out the window and yep..snowing again. So our snow here is slowly melting. Most of my flower beds still have a foot or two in them, but I can see the lawn! Sad looking lawn it is too. Everything is so dull and mushy. I love buttons.. they are all just sooo purdy. I don't DO anything with them.. well some I use on cards or in my scrapbooks... I can't sew worth a darn so no need there... I just love to play with them! I just got a new bag of old buttons, I"m having so much fun sorting thru them! Found some neat leather ones, and some that look carved, some wood ones and others with various designs. So fun! With the weather being so nasty, and then this past week being March break, my oldest hasn't been to school in 2 weeks. I soooo can't wait for monday... he's in sr. k so only goes twice a week, but it quiets the house down, as he and his brother fight all day long otherwise... Woke up this morning and its SNOWING. AGAIN. Seriously, snow is really pissing me off. I'm sooo sick of it. We've had more this year than all the 7 years we've lived up here. To top off my wonderful morning, dh was up at 530 to leave for a business trip. Woke up the puppy AND the kids. I tried to go back to sleep but just ended up lying there and yelling a lot. Well its monday morning, the sun is shining but its cold... got a fire going.. kiddies are eating breakfast... puppy (5 mos old australian shepherd) is getting into trouble as usual. I'm really not liking this time change... erg... coffee doesn't seem to be helping this morning. On a good note I sold some old buttons!! Whoo hoo!!! So working on listing some more today.
