About Me:: I sew 100% by hand. I neither use or own a sewing machine making me past 'vintage' in what I do to clear back to the 'dark ages'. I love a pile of fabric scraps. I love the infinite possiblities fabric scraps present. And I love the creation of scraps into usable and/or wearable art. I also write stories, which occasionally make a blog appearance.

I'm owned by 5 cockatiels. They are my muses. Their response to one fabric scrap over another is normally how certain colors and patterns in my craft are chosen. Seeing 'their' vision come to life, for me, is even more fun than seeing my own.
