I'm a former New Yorker who moved to the Atlanta Georgia area 11 years ago with my husband. I've always enjoyed shopping in vintage shops. I like to watch old movies to see the different style clothing, including their jewelry, and the decor of the rooms. The architecture of old buildings interests me too.
I am also a big animal lover and like to help animal rights and rescue groups. I have another Etsy shop called PollysPawPrint which is dedicated to my white Shepherd who passed away last year. I am an active member of EtsyForAnimals (EFA) under that store name.
I recently opened my vintage shop and am still very much in the learning process. I hope to learn from other vintage members' expertise and look forward to meeting you all.

What are you doing up Beth? It's 5:30 in the morning there isn't it? Go to bed so you can get up and work on your store. We need more vintage!
And it is a small world. I'm told my Great-grandmother on my mother's side had a fish and chips place in Manchester in the early 1900's. My great-grandfather came over here to work and finally made enough for my great-grandmother and their six children to join him. My grandmother was 7 at the time. They all came over on a steamship. There's a bitzi-bit of family history for you!
You can take "the girl" out of the city but the city never out of "the girl"!
Seems like your vintage passion (I see rhinestones glittering in your eyes) plus your love for animals has become a lifelong journery morphing into something greater and better than each of the individual parts!
3 mega cheers for Sus' etsy "morph"! XXX!
And may her etsy "morph" just send me over some of its charm for my little manchester etsy "bit"!!!!
Its a small world afterall - manchester connections rock! Climb upon that family tree to send me some juicy pickings!!!!
I'll always feel like a New Yorker, but actually, I've been living in Georgia for the last 12 years. Haven't lost the accent a bit though they tell me.
Don't feel bad about not knowing to hit the comment button. I did and still do things like that when I get into unfamiliar territory. I'm crazy about anything vintage but my first love will always be the animals. It's nice to meet someone that feels the same way about them.
Have a great day Laura!
Thank you so much for your lovely welcome. I just realized that I had to hit the comment button in order for you to read my comments, lol! I see that you're a fellow New Yorker and animal lover! I think we must be long-lost sisters, lol!
