I have a lot of reverence for vintage. I don't have the heart to cut up true vintage paper or alter a vintage box. I make a copy and work with that. I do not sell vintage, just some vintage and retro inspired items and it's what I love making. I plan a more modern line, though, to better fot my potential market.
I was invited here and joined today. Do you think I fit in? Take a look at my shop, please: http://www.hareanddrum.etsy.com
Sure you do; any and everyone with enthusiasm for vintage is welcome, whether a buyer, seller or fan.
Your decoupage things are great, and definitely have 'the look'. I love the Medieval manuscript frame, especially. It's also very nice that you don't care to damage old things for new purposes. I have a lot of respect for that. I use vintage and antique fabrics in some of my handmade items but only if I don't have to hack them up to fit, so I can relate.
