WHAT'S HOT Right Now? Need your input!

I'll be doing an interview with Auction Wally on his radio broadcast. I'd like to know what you think is hot in vintage, antiques and collectibles right now.

Me? I say Vintage Globes, Clothing (that's a little broad I know), Retro Kitchen.

What do you think?

I agree on the globes.
Vintage aprons and tablecloths/linens.
Kitchenware; Pyrex, melamine, etc.
Recycling architectural elements for decorative purposes.
Costume jewelry; brooches/pins.

Awesome, I can't wait to hear the show! You will have a good time. I'd mention vintage cookbooks as well, they are always good sellers, especially Betty Crocker!

I don't keep up with trends, but according to the items listed here, I am very hot right now! I've got everything on this page. (insert sound of water droplets dancing on a hot iron skillet).

So you think it doesn't matter the brand or kind, that vintage objects in themselves are hot all on their own?

Aprons seem to be all over the place, it's funny because I think we cook less now than ever before. Tea towels are exposed too, and anything with cherries. One thing you don't really see yet, but there seems to be a lot of talk about is baskets. I'm not saying this because I am a weaver, but I saw an article in last months Romantic Homes mag. that they are coming back. I love that because baskets have been around since the beginning of time, we all use them to hold just about everything. I am hopeing that we will once again seek out the handmade, handwoven baskets of yesterday for all the charm they add to a room.
