Kitschy cool is doing well on Etsy.com. I've sold over 1,000 items now and it's not slowing down. I think Etsians love it and there's room for more of it.
I'll be creating an extension of my shop soon "Club Shop 66" due to interest and popularity but it will have a focus on history of kitsch and items from 1966 to 1986. I'll send more information once I have more details on my future "club".

Hi Goodlookin,

This is very spooky because from 1980-1984 I had a Vintage Shop in Adelaide South Australia called
'KOOL KITSCH'! I thought I was the only person to have coined that term but I have recently seen it written down in lots of places........I guess it's all part of the collective unconsctious!

At the time nobody knew what Kitsch was and people though I had opened a shop selling Kitchen utensils!!
Haha!!
